The Center is named for former High Point Mayor, Roy B. Culler, Jr., who was instrumental in its development. The Senior Center is certified by the State of North Carolina as a "Center of Excellence." The offices of the Senior Resources of Guilford are also located at the center.
Due to Executive Order No. 169 - Phase 3, and as a precautionary measure for COVID-19 (Corona Virus), the Roy B. Culler, Jr. Senior Center will be closed for all programs and rentals. Virtual programming is being offered. If you have questions regarding a program registration or rental, please reach out to our facility for more information.
Contact Senior Senior Resources (336.373.4816) for their availability. The 2020 Greater High Point Senior Games and all associated events and practices have been cancelled.

The Center offers a variety of trips that include tours, theater, sight seeing and more.
Volunteers are key to the success of the Center. Some of the areas where volunteers are needed most include program or class leaders, assistants leaders, craft shop attendants, health screening personnel, receptionists and information and referral desk attendants. If interested, please complete the Volunteer Application (PDF) and return it to the Senior Center office.
This is an exciting health promotion program that provides a wide range of activities designed for individuals at various fitness levels. For more information on the local Senior Games visit their page.
AARP offers free tax assistance for seniors. Make your appointment beginning in February each year. You may also call 336.525.1151 to set up an appointment or to obtain more information.
The center is available for rentals for reunions, wedding receptions, graduation parties or any type of family gathering you may have when not in use for regular operational programs and activities. See our Rentals page for more information.
