Mixed-Use Downtown (MX-D) District Text Amendment

On September 18, 2017, the City Council adopted the High Point Downtown Mixed-Use Area Plan. On the same day, City Council took the first step in implementing the Plan by initiating a zoning map amendment to zone 129 acres to the Mixed-Use Downtown (MX-D) District and to expand the Central Business (CB) District by adding 57 acres. In addition to the zoning map amendment, there is an associated text amendment to create the standards for the Mixed-Use Downtown (MX-D) District.
