What’s Happening Now?

Big Sweep Results Infographic 2020

Big Sweep Was a Huge Success!

This year may have been unlike any other but with less than half of our normal number of volunteers we still managed to collect more recycling and tires than last year! We also had more than twice the food donated than we have in years past and are so grateful to be able to help that many more people in need! We are so grateful for having such a supportive community behind us!

New Keep High Point Beautiful Youth Advisory Council Members

We are incredibly excited to welcome our two new KHPB Youth Advisory Council Members, Hamza Alkadir and Luke Rodden!
They have already jumped into their new roles with both feet and we are thrilled to have them with us.
WELCOME Hamza and Luke, we can't wait to hear your ideas and visions for our community!

Certificate of Tree Planting

A Thank You and a Promotion

To congratulate our former Youth Advisory Council Member and now full fledged board member Joseph on his high school graduation, a tree was planted in his honor.  Joseph has been an amazing asset to KHPB and we want to wish him a big (belated) congratulations, and are so glad that he is sticking around with us a little while longer!

Keep On Keeping On

Covid-19 has altered a lot of our normal operations, but we haven't let that slow down the actions we have taken to make an impact in our community! We held a very successful, safe and socially distanced Big Sweep, we have resumed our Adopt-A-Street program, we grew a garden to help combat food insecurity, we are working with community groups to see how we can work together to marry our mission and their needs, and we have had many productive Zoom meetings full of brand new ideas to help us learn and grow! Even in a pandemic we are still dedicated to our mission of:

  • Beautification and Greening
  • Litter Prevention
  • Outreach and Education
  • Recycling and Waste Reduction
