Keep High Point Beautiful and the High Point Urban Forestry Committee took inventory of the trees lost to accidental damage or disease along Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and found that many need to be replaced. Through the efforts of the Community Cultivation Campaign we endeavor to partner with the community to raise the necessary funds to replant trees and restore the landscape.
Trees are wonderful for absorbing pollution, improving aesthetics, minimizing erosion, reducing flooding and many other factors that improve human health and wellbeing. For more information on trees and their importance to our community please check out the following resources.
