Mark your calendar for the annual Uncle Sam Jam and celebrate the Fourth of July with us! High Point Parks & Recreation has been a proud partner of this tradition since 1973 and we invite you and your family to be a part of the tradition. The Uncle Sam Jam is held on July 4th annually. What can I bring into the festival?
Coolers, chairs and blankets are allowed. Tents, glass containers, pets, fishing equipment, fireworks, grills, or drones are prohibited. The Uncle Sam Jam is a family event so please, no alcohol. Be prepared for a bag/cooler check at the gate.
Where are the best viewing areas?
We suggest you choose from among these viewing and parking locations to enjoy the festivities and fireworks. A $10 parking fee will be charged per vehicle.

Due to a required change in the launch area, please be aware the fireworks show will not be visible from Oak Hollow Marina (3431 N. Centennial Street) or Sailboat Point (3701 Waterview Road). We will not charge for parking at these locations this year.
How can I volunteer? Volunteer at the Uncle Sam Jam! Our Uncle Sam Jam Volunteers will provide assistance in a variety of areas. Each assignment is important and critical to the overall success of this event. These positions help extend the resources of the High Point Parks & Recreation Department and ensure each guest enjoys the event.
